🌾 FieldOps: Your Daily Co-Pilot in Crop Production

Empowering Food Producers to Plan, Monitor & Optimize from Seed to Silo

Whose life are we changing every day? (or a less cool version who is using FieldOps every day?)

FieldOps is purpose-built for agri-enterprises running large-scale (500+ hectares) and complex agri-operations, including:

  • Packaged food & beverage producers using contract farming
  • Large-scale commercial farms
  • Seed producers managing grower networks

End-Users:

  • Field technicians
  • Agronomists
  • Operations managers
  • Crop Sourcing/Procurement teams.

These professionals use FieldOps daily to make data-informed decisions on crop management and assess the performance of farmers they are working with under a contract.

🌾 A Day in the Life of an Agricultural Operations Manager

Ask any agricultural operations manager, and they’ll tell you: the season doesn’t start when seeds hit the soil — it begins with people, parcels, and planning.

In pre-season, we’re scouting new lands, chasing down grower documents, tweaking last year’s planting maps, and trying to lock in contracts before input prices jump again. Some growers don’t have proper field boundaries. Others need a tractor, not just seed. And every year, someone calls on Friday saying they just found another 20 hectares they want to add. We’ve had cases where fertilizer arrived late or was over-delivered to one grower and completely forgotten for another, and by the time we realize, we’ve already lost a week.

Then comes in-season, when everything hits at once.

We’re tracking who applied fertilizer — and whether they actually did it on the recommended date. A drone spotted potential armyworm pressure on one block, but the field team can’t get there until Thursday. We monitor crop conditions remotely and match what we see with field-level updates, trying to stay ahead of any signs of stress. The irrigation pump broke in a key grower’s field, but we only found out a week later. We’re juggling field visits, incoming alerts, grower messages, and trying to make sure no field gets forgotten in the process.

When crops start to mature, it’s harvest coordination mode.

We follow crop development closely to spot when ripening starts. We ask ourselves multiple times in a week, “Is that yellowing due to ripening, or stress?”. We coordinate harvest timing with available trucks and factory intake schedules. Trucks are overbooked, and the factory wants us to deliver 80 tons tomorrow from fields that aren’t even confirmed ready. Three growers harvested early without telling anyone — we found out when they posted photos to their WhatsApp status. Meanwhile, the factory wants 80 tons tomorrow from fields that haven’t been cleared by the ops team yet.

Finally, post-harvest. The dust settles — but we’re still buried.

We’re cross-checking delivery weights with contract amounts, resolving a dispute over 2 tons that “disappeared” between field and factory, and trying to generate grower performance reports while half the data is still in someone’s personal notebook. Meanwhile, HQ is asking for ESG numbers — how many hectares had documented pesticide use? Who followed the irrigation guidelines?

It’s complex. It’s high-stakes. It’s your whole season riding on 1000 details — most of them out of your control.

That’s why we built FieldOps — to bring order to the chaos and help teams like yours finally run agri-ops at peace and in full control.

What Are Their Daily Pain Points?

  • 🌍 Geographically Dispersed Operations: Managing thousands of fields across villages and regions
  • 🧾 Manual Data Collection: High dependence on field agents & paper-based reporting
  • 📦 Input Supply Complexity: Matching the right quantities with the right growers on time
  • 🚜 Logistics & Harvest Coordination: Poor visibility into crop readiness and yield volumes
  • 📉 Unpredictable Yield & Quality: Leading to contract failures and revenue loss
  • ⚖️ Lack of Accountability: Difficulty tracking input use, field visits, and grower compliance
